It’s no secret that New York City is one of the most exciting places to live. With culture, shopping, world-famous restaurants, and iconic architecture, there’s never an opportunity to get bored in this city. Since we live and breathe all things New York, we wanted to share a few of our favorite things to do in NYC!

Favorite Outdoor Place to Relax: Riverside Park

As Upper West Siders, Riverside Park is one of our favorite places to get outside and relax in the city. The park spans from 72nd Street to 158th Street along the Hudson River. With beautiful city and water views, Riverside Park is indeed a spectacular place to visit!

Favorite Restaurant: Celeste

What’s better than a great Italian meal in New York? Celeste is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. In addition to the delicious food, including brick-oven pizza, the atmosphere at Celeste is friendly, vibrant and true to a neighborhood restaurant.

Favorite Bakery: Veniero’s

An East Village staple since 1894, one of our favorite treats is a cannoli from Veniero’s! On top of the decadent Italian pastries and desserts, the history behind Veniero’s is amazing. An Italian immigrant, Antonio Veniero arrived in New York in 1885. After working his way up in a candy factory, Antonio saved enough money to open his social club. After initially serving candy and espresso, Antonio began baking biscotti and Veniero’s was born!

Favorite Workout: SoulCycle

Ignoring the popularity of SoulCycle is hard. For us, starting our morning with a SoulCycle class helps clear our minds and get geared up for the day ahead. With at least one studio in most NYC neighborhoods, SoulCycle is convenient no matter where you live or work in the city. It’s also great after indulging in a meal from Celeste or a cannoli at Veniero’s!

Favorite Place to Shop: Zabar’s

We love to cook, and for us, a trip to Zabar’s is a regular stop. Zabar’s has been a staple of the Upper West Side for over 80 years! The store first opened as a 22 square foot shop on West 80th Street and today spans almost the entire block. A trip to Zabar’s is more than just shopping; it’s an experience.

These are just a few of our favorite things to do in NYC. We could go on and on! Feel free to contact us anytime for ideas and let us know what your favorite places are.
